Our shade sail attachment and mounting hardware is manufactured with either 304 or 316 marine quality stainless steel and designed to be used in harsh environments.

Stainless Steel Turnbuckle
Turnbuckles are used to attach shade sails to other types of mounting or attachment hardware (an eye bolt or diamond pad eye for example). A turnbuckle also allows for additional tensioning. UNC threads. 316 stainless steel. Normally, a turnbuckle goes on each corner.

3/8" 316 Stainless Steel Eye bolt
Eye bolts are used for creating an attachment or mounting point on posts or poles. Eye bolts can also be used in solid concrete with epoxy to create a very strong attachment point. Marine grade 316 stainless steel. 3/8" UNC thread. 1,000 lbs WLL.

Diamond pad eyes create strong and attractive attachment points. These stainless steel diamond pad eyes are normally used with 5/16" lag screws or bolts. Measures 3 1/2" X 2 1/4".

316 Stainless Steel Screw Eye
Screw eyes are used for creating an attachment point on wooden structures or posts. 3 1/4" will go into wood. 316 stainless steel.

316 Stainless Steel Captive Pin "D" Shackle
"D" shackles can be used to connect a shade sail or cable to an attachment point or other mounting hardware. Made from 316 stainless steel. Captive pin.
A standard stainless steel pad eye is similar to a diamond pad eye, but with two holes instead of four. 1" wide by 3 1/4" long

3/16" Stainless Steel Chain
Chain can be used to span the distance between a corner of a shade sail and an attachment point. Chain is sold by the foot. Enter number of feet desired in the quantity field when ordering. There are 12 links per foot. WLL = 830 lbs. 3/16" (5mm) type 304 stainless steel chain. $4.15 Per Foot
Stainless Steel Cable
Stainless steel aircraft cable can be used to span the distance between a corner of a shade sail and an attachment point. Enter number of feet desired in the quantity field when ordering. Type 316 7 X 19.
A zinc plated copper swage sleeve is used for creating a loop at the end of a cable. Swage tool not included.

Stainless Steel Wire Clamp
Wire clamps can be used to create loops at the end of a cable. Use two or more wire clamps per loop. Type 316 stainless steel. We prefer swage sleeves over wire clamps.
